Six Flags Magic Mountain?
Is a Thursday a good day to go? (June 16th) And how tight are the over shoulder restraints? Because when I was at Great America last summer, one ride I couldn't breathe on at all and I want to try to ride every ride for my first trip to L.A. And is it a good idea to go on the most popular ride(s) first? Please answer ASAP.

Okay, well, I can't tell you much about Magic Mountain, but I can tell you what's probably the same between the original and that one.
The over the shoulder restraints are always going to be somewhat tight and "restricting". You can ask the attendant that comes around to check your buckles/restraints how tight it should be on you, but if you have to set it yourself before that, press it back as far as it can go with you being held in and comfortable. If they push it back another setting, just go with it; it's for safety.
As for hitting the most popular parts first, it depends on what time you're going. Early morning would be your best bet for doing that if you don't want to wait in really long lines.
Hope this helps! :)
