My car won't start? Need advice?

Hello, I have not used my car in a few months and it wasn\'t starting, i recently replaced my battery on it as it was dead. However the car still wont start, the gas was low when it was unused so maybe it ran out. I would like to know if it is a gas issues or a much more expensive engine issue. I have recently gotten new sparkplugs, an oil change and tires. The car is a 1999 Lexus RX, any advice?

Way too much going on and not near enough info. It doesn't start. Does it crank? Is the fuel gauge showing anything? Does it smell like raw gas when cranking?

Pour two pints of fuel stabilizer in the tank and two gallons of fresh gas.

Get some starter fluid, open the air box and take out the air filter. While an assistant is starting the car, spray starter fluid into the air intake hose.

You might ask a mechanic to come by and take a look at it. They might be better able to diagnose the issue.

Squirt a little gas or starter booster spray directly into the throttle body and see if it fires. If it doesn't at least try to start then it probabably isn't a fuel issue. Verify that there is spark at the plugs.
