I became active again on Y!A after being inactive for 5 years. Now, many of my 5-7 year old questions are getting weird, random answers,?

Are there some kind of Bots that answer old questions, or what ? It is strange.

There are bots like the 1-800 spam bots that post on old questions, plus you have points gamers who are also doing that now.

No, those are desperate people who want to get the 2 points for the ir non answers. They are cheating, point gaming. You should report all the non-answers, because if you do NOT report the non-answers, those accounts will move to higher levels of YA where they can spam and troll YA more times per day.

Those ARE NOT bots. Those are possibly deranged and mentally ill people, but i'm not qualified to judge people's mental states, including my own.

Your YA activity profile says you were on YA 4 or 5 DAYS ago, not YEARS. Your activity is PUBLIC.
