Lying about grades to get into college, UK?

I want to go to another college to do a different course, and I'm still 18 so they told me as long as I don't already have a btec level 3 qualification, i don't have to pay any fees.

But I already got a btec lvl 3 qualification from the college i've already gone to, so I'm wondering if it's okay to lie and say I don't have it?

Update:

Obviously I don't enjoy lying, but I'd rather not have to pay £1200 if I can easily get away with it.

It is NOT OK. This is fraud and if the college discovers this, they will kick you out and you could face a police investigation for fraud. The next course you do could be in the prison education department.

You can get easily caught, and you'll work at McDonalds for the rest of your life since no college will accept you.
