Can I have my open wound in khakis?
Scraped my knee last thursday and had it all patched up and cleansed.
Had to go to work those days so I covered it with a gauze pad and wrapped it, and when I got home yesterday the wound was stuck to it, so I poured water over it to unstick it and it didn't work, so I ripped the gauze pad off along with my scab that was forming.
My question is, can I wear my khakis over my scab without any gauze or protection? Or do I have to wrap it with something? If I put neosporin on it to keep it moist, will it stick to the gauze pad still?
Thanks!

You'll want the gauze. You don't want any pus or other fluid soaking into your khakis.
Just keep the bandage loose. Keep it in place with tape behind your knee. The loose gauze will present less of a sticking problem.
