Well, not all countries have a signed agreements regarding human rights. Plus you must remember that this is an islamic governed country. Islam is not just a religion, it is a political system.

Yes, it's a violation. Muslim men had well proved in many ways that they are like that not only with their wives but also with other people. That's why they kill each other themselves and dying everyday.

Of course it's a violation of human rights. It's why the US and every other civilized country must refuse to allow sharia courts to be established in our countries.

It is a violation. But there are plenty of poor women trapped in abusive marriages.
If a person needs genuine love they should get a dog.

Pakistan is a muslim country, muslim law recommends to beat your wife here and there. A famous muslim proverb says "when you come home at night, beat your wife. If you don't know why, she knows". So no surprise here.
