Why do my rear brake lights stay on?

2005 Suzuki Forenza sedan

The center rear & side rear brake lights not the ABS or emergency brake on the dashboard.

I check the headlight control switch and it was off. I also removed the carpet mats.

They sometimes stay on when driving, which is what concerns me.

Did Suzuki ever did a recall for this? I know they did some headlights and airbags.

If I tap on the brake lights it sometimes turns them off.

May be a bad brake pedal switch.

The brake light switch is bad or needs adjustment. Located at the brake pedal.
