Can he take back the scholarship?
My dad wants to control my life when i go to college, and im under 18 so his name will be on the promissary note and stuff. I have scholarships that I ve already accepted. That s all the background information. My question is, after i start my first year of college, he threatens to call and have my scholarships revoked if i go to see my girlfriend when he doesn t want me to. Can he do that?

He can't do that. However, what he can do is 1) not cosign for your student loans in the future, and 2) deny you his financial information for your FAFSA, which will significantly impact your ability to get and keep loans and scholarships in the future.

He can decide to not co-sign any more loans for you, but if the scholarships come from the college or other organization and you are meeting their requirements (things such as GPA, number of credits, and major), there is nothing he can do about that; it's between you and the school/organization.
