How to use spectacular in a sentence: He plays spectacular(ly) ...?

For musical instrument what are god adjectives.

In "He plays spectacular or (spectacularly)".

Update:

Yes but some are rarely used and sound awkward. Like terrifically.

As a general rule, "ly“ converts an adjective into an adverb. Beautiful. Beautifully. Spectacular. Spectacularly. Terrific. Terrifically. On and on and on . . .

You need an adverb to modify the verb "plays". Most of the time, you construct an adverb from an adjective by adding "ly": spectacularly.
