Audition songs for a 14 (almost 15 year old) trying to get a kid roll?

Hello! I'm a professional actress/singer and I've been working professionally since I was 9, and since then I've always loved the musical Annie. However, besides it being a common show, there was only one production of Annie I was able to audition for in that 6 year period. I was Annie once and Lily St. Regis once in a musical revue, but that doesn't count. 😂 Despite what you may be thinking, I am NOT trying to hold on to my elementary dreams of being Annie, but I still would like to be an orphan. I'm 5' 2" but almost 15, so I look young but have a matured voice. I've played kids before but I REALLY want to do this show, as it might be my last chance to be an orphan in Annie, one of my biggest aspirations. Any audition songs that will help me sound younger? Also, I'm not a belter, but I have a strong mix that brings a warm, youthful sound to my voice if I use it correctly. Thanks so much!

Check with the audition guidelines at the theatre. If you look young otherwise (maybe 12 or younger), you might have a chance, BUT there may be a height requirement, so check. If they don't want anyone over 5', you may not be orphan material. However, there are other parts in the chorus, or minor roles you might get. Having a "mature" voice will count against you since your voice may not fit in with the other little girls' voices.
