Drooping is caused my lack of water, or poor water absorbtion due to PH out of range. Most soil contains carbonates which buffer the PH alkaline or above 7, and strawberries need an acidic ph of around 6. Mix coffee grounds or compost into your soil to help lower PH, keep them well watered, and plenty of sun. Good luck on your next try.

Dig around the roots & I bet you find those big white grubs. They are the larvae of a beetle & are instant death to strawberries.

Leprechauns; leading cause of garden problems.

    Get a cat

Edit: sorry, but that's what happens when questions mistakenly end up in the religion section of yahoo answers. Don't blame me and think your factually correct answer somehow reduces the threat of leprechaun damage to plants, or god swill, or satan, or a lack of love .
