Pods are about 8 inches long and are round, they were splitting on the tree, letting seeds out. The seeds are a little larger than a grain of rice, but almost paper thin, and they have long strands of fuzz attached, probably to catch the wind! Found the tree in a Tucson Arizona suburb.

I understand there are lasers powerful enough to cut or burn things, but I'm wondering does the laser beam carry heat (is the beam hot?)? or is it based on the absorption of light on that the laser hits?

So I attended an evening mass at the local catholic church... and attempted to receive communion (just the wafer), the guy held it up and said "body of christ" I said "thank you" and he promptly refused to give me the wafer. my dad "the catholic" say's it's because I didn't say amen. This ruined my good mood tonight, I feel he made a very arrogant mistake, because I have strong faith in god, so I ask; What does communion mean for Catholics?

I assume a regular electric clothes dryer intakes air from its surroundings, drys the clothes with it, and blows it out the exhaust, is this correct?

here's the situation, I'm staying at my brothers house, and I noticed every towel I grabbed, has a slight foul odor on them, like a hint of catbox. well I inspected the laundry room and by the time I was half threw the door, I was overwhelmed by catbox odor, and realized they keep the catbox, right next to the dryer, and they don't scoop it, they just change it once a month (if that). now.. to me, this is just a matter of common sense, I wouldn't keep the catbox there, id keep it near a toilet to flush the stinkies... I mentioned it to him and his girlfriend... both of them disagreed with me, said they couldn't smell anything on the towels, and blamed it on not using dryer sheets, and called me crazy. Well now I am frustrated, because I have laundry to do, and I don't want to smell even the slightest bit bad... guess I will have to move that stinking catbox myself.

so am I right? Is the dryer using catbox fumes to dry their clothing?

If I wasn't right here in this situation, I'd laugh about it.

I painted some plastic items with spray paint and let them dry in the sun for about an hour, Id like to bring them inside, but they still smell like spray paint. Would washing them with soap and water help?

Ground coffee, like what you would use in a coffee machine at home.
