Where should I work my first job?
I'm a 16 year old female and looking for a job. What are some good first jobs that aren't too boring and pay well? (Please don't say babysitting, lawn service, etc. I'm looking for a real job.)

I agree with some of the other pots saying you should take what you can get. It s your first job so you re young and lack experience. Fast food places and some retail places are known for hiring people people with no experience and will train you.

This is a life question you need to figure out as you stand on the brink of adulthood.

At 16, realistically, you need to take what you can get, and it will be minimum wage. Decide if you want retail, always a good bet, or fast food. Other than that you will really need to look hard.

I think you just have to suck it up and work a job even if it is boring or doesn't pay well. You are at entry level and not worth very much. I suggest just go to McDonald's or something.
