any tips for an American Eagle interview? Or any interview in general?

don't stress about it. even if it's your first ever interview, it's not a big deal. everyone's had a first interview at sometime in their life.

i worked at a retail store similar, and i don't think it lasted more then 20 minutes. it was over five years ago, so i don't remember specifics, but they offered me the job right afterwards. i was also in school at the time, but i don't think that made a difference.

smile. think positive. if you're unsure of a question, say so. better to understand the question then say something misleading. don't be afraid to pause to think before you answer. wear nice clothes. first impressions matter, even if employees wear jeans, wear business casual clothing. it's better to overdress then underdress at interviews.

if they offer you a job, you don't have to accept it right away. but take no more then a week to respond. if you're applying to other places, you can get time to hear from those if you're waiting for a interview or job offer. you can tell them you're interested at american eagle but need time to think about it, i'll let you know by the end of the week.
