Since we live in a equal rights society don't you think it's fair if all jobs paid equally the same?
Relationships are considered a "50/50 partnership" and women whine and complain about the "wage gap". In order to fix this, wouldn't it make more sense to have all jobs pay the same amount? Why should one job pay more than another job? I think this would be fair to everyone and then we'll all turn into robots! Thanks for your answers :)
Also if a person choices to go to school they shouldn't be rewarded with more money afterwards but more so a drive to do something else. Something by choice. Not by money!

Yes. My doctor should have been a dog catcher. Or on second thought, he should have been a street sweeper.

No. How is it fair that someone doing more work be paid the same as someone doing less work? How is it fair for someone who had to do 8 years of college and post-graduate schooling for their job be paid the same as someone who only needed a high school diploma for their job?

Nope. I don't think a neurosurgeon and a dog catcher deserve the same pay for example.

No, because "equal pay" does not equate with "equal rights".

No.
This is one of the biggest myths about socialism/communism.
No existing system ever advocated absolute equal pay. Even the Soviets understood that if you wanted somebody to bother studying to become a surgeon, you had to reward that.
They also understood nobody was "worth" 1000 times more than somebody else.
Between a factor of 1.0 and 1000, there's plenty of room for debate.

No. Jobs requiring more study, or risk, require more pay. However, I do believe people doing 40 hours of any job should make a living wage.

that isn't fair at all.
