Does anyone else think now would be a perfect time for a John Cena heel turn?

Cina will never turn heel. He makes the WWE too much money being a face. The only way it will ever be possible is if someone comes along and becomes the face and merchandise king of the company. But it would make no sense for the WWE to throw their cash cow away

No, John Cena makes a lot of money for Vince & Co. as the company's most recognizable babyface. A heel turn makes no sense. Comparing a potential Cena heel turn to Hogan's "Hollywood" run is a false comparison: Hogan's star was fading in WCW when he became "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, not rising, and he needed something to juice up his character and make it relevant again to the fans.

A more apt comparison to a Cena heel turn would be the WWE turning "Stone Cold" Steve Austin heel at Wrestlemania X-Seven, despite him being the hottest babyface in wrestling in 2001. It was a total disaster and the WWE was forced to turn him babyface to placate fans at the end of the year.

John Cena is not turning heel now or ever.

John Cena will never turn heel. Why do you think they call it "Face of WWE"? You have to be a face to have that position. Cena isn't gonna give that away right now.

Should have happened when he made the 'Future has to run through me' promo, made no sense for The [Bullet] Club to split for one week just to join up to beat down Cena. It should've been John Cena w/ Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows Vs. A.J. Styles.

I would love to see a Hollywood Hogan/Now type thing with him after the brand split.
