Can a lactose intolerance cause these symptoms?

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow but I want to know if this can happen if you're allergic to dairy. I know digestion problems, bloating, and nausea/dizziness, are symptoms. But can swollen lips, itchy/tight throat, and hives be?

Those are true allergy symptoms, not lactose intolerance. It is possible to be allergic to milk, or it may be to something else.

I have never heard of these symptoms being related to lactose intolerance, but they are symptoms of allergies.

Certain allergies or intolerances may present differently in different people, so it is certainly worth asking about. At any rate, it may be another allergy that is causing this.
