How do I fix my life after so much damage?
Nothing I do is for me. I mean NOTHING. I'm going for a degree I don't even think I want. I'm working a job that I am okay with, but definitely do not want to do the rest of my life, and am afraid I will be stuck doing it. It's been this way my whole life! My dad forced me to play a bunch of sports I hated all throughout school! Believe me when I tell you I am not an athlete, nor do I look like ne, but I was forced into doing so much crap I hated and wasn't even good at! I need to find myself and figure out what I want! But I can't do that here. I want to leave and find myself, away from the people who tried to make me do what I don't like, away from people who think they know me but really don't. I just want to take off. Get in my car and leave. I am starting to think that I have to. I'm panicking. I can't keep living like this. Please help.

I know what you are going through.
I don't understand why you going for a degree that you are not going to excel in.
Are your parents pushing you in that direction? If so, you should stand up for yourself. Try talking to your parents and if possible meet with a career counselor and do some aptitude tests that will show what you are suited to do and show them the results.
You can also do online personality and career tests that are free.
On a personal note, I wasted 2 years doing the wrong degree. My family was so controlling. But they let me do what I wanted which cost another 4 years at uni.
I could never get away due to finances but after my first year of real work i moved abroad for a year in London, thrn taught English in the far east just so I could get away from everything ( you dont always need a teaching qualification for far east.
I really grew up in thise 2 years and earned respect from family as I showed I could mske it on my own.
Goodluck!

Do what you need to do to be happy. You are now an adult and capable of making healthy, positive decisions for yourself.
Remember self-care...you need to set time aside for yourself. If you do stay where you are, then make sure you are happy. Change your major to something you're interested in, play a sport, join a club or find a hobby...THAT YOU LIFE. No one is holding you back now.

You let others take charge of your life. You should be more assertive.
