  • How do I fix my schedule so I can stop being so stressed?

I work 35-38 hours per week. I take 16 credits at school. I live on my own and pay most of my own bills, but I am still on my mom's medical insurance and she pays for school and my groceries. I am so beat. I am usually out of the house (including commute) 13 hours per day with school and work. Don't forget about getting ready in the morning and the bedtime routine. I would also like to hit the gym once in a while because I lost weight and need to put some muscle back on. I just don't know what to do. Please help

  • Which oil would be good for my hair?

I'm looking for an oil to use on my hair. I have straight hair. For the most part, I think I have good hair, but my hair problems include a lot of fly aways and having fine hair (but not thin hair). I've seen a lot of options for me, and I couldn't decide what to go for, some sites told me avocado oil, almond oil, coconut oil, and pomegranate seed oil. I don't know which one to go for?

  • How do I fix my life after so much damage?

Nothing I do is for me. I mean NOTHING. I'm going for a degree I don't even think I want. I'm working a job that I am okay with, but definitely do not want to do the rest of my life, and am afraid I will be stuck doing it. It's been this way my whole life! My dad forced me to play a bunch of sports I hated all throughout school! Believe me when I tell you I am not an athlete, nor do I look like ne, but I was forced into doing so much crap I hated and wasn't even good at! I need to find myself and figure out what I want! But I can't do that here. I want to leave and find myself, away from the people who tried to make me do what I don't like, away from people who think they know me but really don't. I just want to take off. Get in my car and leave. I am starting to think that I have to. I'm panicking. I can't keep living like this. Please help.

  • Is my friend s girlfriend s meanness a part of her bipolar disorder?

My friend is dating a girl who s really mean. He attributes it to her bipolar. I could understand her lashing out and getting moody at times, but she has done things that I dont think were right.

She gives her opinions at inappropriate times. For example, shes religious, and decided to talk to my friend about Bible verses that are anti LGBT while our friend who is bisexual was there. Have an opinion, but heres the thing, she s been with girls! Shes a hypocrite.

When she gets angry, she s mean and disrespectful. As soon as she gets angry, she speaks in such an aggressive tone, and will start saying "f*** you." And she tends to get to this point very easily.

She s super clingy and demands attention. He doesn t go anywhere without her. He even takes her to school and lets her sit outside his classes. If she finds out he s with friends, she shows up, whether she s invited or not.

She yells and jumps to conclusions. At my birthday, she threw a tantrum and walked away because I was "making it all about me." she nearly ruined the night. The next time I saw her we got into an argument because she and my friend were being rude. I was calm and patient when I finally said something, and she immediately got in my face and screamed at me.

She also gaslights us. Look up gaslighting if you have never heard of it.

I don t like her, but my friend insists that we need to be patient with her because she is bipolar. I keep researching bipolar, and can t find anything that explains her behavior.

  • How can I work out my butt and thighs?

I have a gym membership, do yoga, and go hiking once in a while. I am trying to get in better shape, and my butt and thighs are by biggest problem, I got sick last year, and lost some weight, I want my butt to get bigger. I also have some BAD cellulite in that area. So I want a bigger butt with less cellulite. When I go to the gym and used the machines that work that area, it's really weird because they're not hard for me. I don't think that it's me not using enough weight. I used the highest weight before reaching the point where I can't move it, but that's still easy for me. those machines don't make me sore. But anyway, what can I do? I am so self conscious about my but and upper thighs right now. you have no idea.

  • Singers, how do you find privacy?

I sing, and I really need more privacy. I am a college kid with roommates, and I don't want to wake anybody up with vocal warmups, or singing/musical work. or annoy people with the noise. What can I do?

  • How do I help my boyfriend who is going through a hard time?

My boyfriend just got fired from his job, pretty much because his boss didn't like him. It was so unfair. And on top of that, he is battling depression. I want to do something nice for him. He doesn't really have much money now, so he can't come see me (we live about 40 minutes apart) so I would have to go to him. It's very tricky because he has a lot of pride and doesn't like to take handouts, but maybe a small gift? What do I do?

  • Who should pay how much for rent?

My friend is buying a house and wants me to come live with him. He gets the master bedroom and I get one of the other ones. Now it is HIS house plus he gets the mast bedroom, so I know that means it's fair that he pays more, but by how much?

  • How can I be able to do the things that I really want to do?

I want to do so much! But I have no time to do it. I'm in college. I go to school full time. I also work part time (although I barely cut it as part time). But I want so much more. I want to sing. That is pretty uch the only thing that makes me completely happy. I also want to learn guitar and the ukulele. Making music makes me happy and I want time to do it more than anything. I'm not happy without it. I also need to work out. I know it sounds superficial but last year I got really sick and lost a lot of weight. I need to gain some muscle back. And I really want to learn Spanish. I have been doing duolingo a bit and it has helped a bit, but God forbid I have a busy few days. Plus, I feel as though it is really teaching me how to read in Spanish, not to speak it. What do I do?!

  • Are there products to slim down a face?

DON'T SAY TO LOSE WEIGHT! I am not over weight! in fact, quite the opposite. I Have struggled to keep myself up to a normal weight. But for some reason, I have a fat face. I tried one idea that somewhat worked, which was to massage my face with a ceramic spoon. it somewhat helped. My problem areas were the tops of my cheeks, bottoms of my cheeks, and a double chin. It did nothing for the tops of my cheeks but it helped the bottom a lot and did a little bit for the double chin. I don't know why I have such a fat face. I am barely past 100 pounds. But I can't afford to lose weight because I will probably get sick.

Also, don't say contour. It's more than contouring can fix....

  • How do I get myself to do the things I want to do?

I have so many things I want to do, but I feel as though I just don't have the time. I have a guitar and a ukulele that I really want to learn to play because I love music. I also want to learn Spanish, mainly because I work in a town that has a large Spanish speaking population and I think it would be good for me and to help the customers. I would love to get into volunteering. I would like to volunteer at an animal shelter and a soup kitchen maybe. But I work and go to school, and I feel like I just don't have the time, but I really do want these things. What do I do?

  • How can I stick to a night routine?

I'm realizing it's harder than sticking to a morning routine because I'm so beat and tired! Like honestly, my routine that I would like to stick to isn't even that difficult

    Eat something

    Stretch

    Shower

Towel dry my hair for 15 minutes, meanwhile brush my teeth and put on moisturizer. Then pajamas

    Spray hair with leave-in conditioner.

    Make some Sleepy time tea

    Read/watch netflix

    meditate

    go to sleep.

But lately it's like shower and sleep

    How do I fix that?

  • How can I get myself into a proper morning routine?

Mine just seems so long. It typically takes me a good hour and a half to get out the door. I have ADD, so maybe that has something to do with it, but I don't know. Can someone help me figure out what I should be doing? I'll make a list of what I need to do every morning.

    Wake up

    Go to the bathroom

Splash warm water on my face and put on a little eye cream

    Make bed

Check emails/social media (I know they say don't do that so early but I am in college and I'm mainly checking to make sure I didn't get an email about class being cancelled. or something)

    Make breakfast and tea

    Eat breakfast and tea/take vitamins

    Stretch

Back workout (I have a bad back, I was given a short daily workout for them)

    Brush teeth/mouthwash

    Makeup

    Do hair

    Get dressed

    Gather my things

    Head out

  • How should I dry my hair?

So first I should tell you my hair type I guess. I have straight hair with a lot of natural volume. unless I sleep on it wet, then It gets wavy (not cute wavy) and a bit frizzy. My hair takes forever to dry. My hairdresser friend told me that this means I have porous hair, and that water is getting trapped i my hair. I can see it, but after researching it, I saw that porous hair is much more common in curly, hair, which I don't have. Anyway, She recommended pillowproof for me. Which did somewhat help. Right now my routine is after a shower, squeeze out the excess water, towel dry with a microfiber towel for 15 minutes, spray some pillowproof and it's a 10 leave in with keratin in my hair and wait. the wait is 2 hours on a good day, 3 ish on a slow day. slow days are more common though. I know pillowproof will work better if i blow-dry my hair, but I like how healthy my hair looks now. Plus, hairdryers have so much energy! Someone recommended only blow-drying my roots to get the hard part out of the way. but I don't know. should I just give into a hairdryer? Or do something else?
