Allergic reaction to diaper rash cream?

I'm currently dealing with an anal fissure. My sister (Who had a baby last year) said she got a fissure and used diaper rash cream to help with the itching.

When I applied cream things got worse. My anus became inflamed and now it itches really bad.

Is this an allergic reaction? Should I seek medical attention?

    Yes. You should not treat a fissure at home. That need medical attention.
