Did the kid in Kansas at the water park really have his head torn off?

    One article said that his neck was broken. Another said he was decapitated. Another said it was a neck injury (which term would not be used if the head was no longer attached). Two women suffered face injuries as well.

    There are still conflicting reports. The only thing they do agree upon is that something went wrong on the ride, causing the death of the child.

    The details of what exactly went wrong is largely immaterial as far as the child, his family, or any of us really, are concerned. Dead is dead.
