Can someone explain to me the details of these Clinton emails?

I'm a bit of a novice in politics, so I need to hear from people who might be more qualified. What is it that is so important about these recent emails relating to Hillary Clinton? For instance, is there evidence of anything damaging to her resume or is just a bunch of hot air?

Update:

Are you referring to the leaked DNC emails that were supporting her over Sanders while the primary was still going on, or are you referring to the classified emails she was improperly using a private server to handle as Secretary of State?

Editing to add: The DNC emails reflect somewhat poorly on the DNC, but you can't blame Clinton for that even if she benefited. I don't see that part as a big deal

But as for the other part, she had no business hosting government emails on a private server. She most likely did this so other parts of the government wouldn't find the emails when people submitted Freedom of Information Act requests for them. But her security was so poor that she wouldn't even necessarily know if her server WAS hacked. And then she deleted a bunch of emails when she knew an investigation was coming, which for anyone else would land them in federal prison - destroying evidence when you're being federally investigated is a crime in itself, even if you're totally innocent of the underlying allegations.

Hillary hid or erased most of them to hide all the criminal activity she was involved in.

    the Wall Stret Journal:

“That the Clinton Foundation was calling in favors barely 3 months into Hillary Clinton’s tenure at the State Department is deeply troubling, and it is yet another reminder of the conflicts of interest and unethical wheeling and dealing she’d bring to the White House,” said Michael Short, a spokesman for the Republican National Committee, in a statement Tuesday.

They show her as a liar and a corrupt politician. But the Dems won't listen anyway. It doesn't matter to them.
