What is your favorite whiskey?

I only like single malt Islay whiskey

Lagavulin 16 Yr old and Ardbeg 10 Yr Old are my favourites

Laphroiag Single Malt Scotch or Elijah Craig Bourbon.

I like dark rum. Bacardi's is about the best, though there are some nice 'flavored' rums like Capt' Morgan, Myers, etc.

If you don't count rum as 'whiskey' then I'd go with rye, aka Canadian Whiskey. It's kind of a 'starter' whiskey, it's cheap and it tastes pretty good.

Dewar's blended Scotch. Occasional splurge on Chivas Regal. I used to drink Famous Grouse, but like the smokey notes in Dewar's.

I like honey bourbon (don't care for the 20 year single malt, overpriced gag-ya stuff). Seagrams dark honey is the best IMO, but JD and Jim both make a pretty decent blend.

Anything from Islay, but if I had to pick one I'd say Ardbeg.
