What are the affects of a low level current running through your body for 15 minutes?

From a 12 volt 4 amp battery.

Want to build an ionthoporesius device to cure sweaty palms and that needs 15 mins of low level current through your body for 15 minutes for many sessions

Any health risks?

    I am no expert but once I heard my physics teacher saying that if the current is DC, then it doesnt do any harm, but if it is AC, then the frequency will kill if it passes through your heart.

    P.S:. DC have no frequency

    Most people wont feel 12 volt it wont break thru the skin hence draw no current. So it has no effect
