Should I offer my friend some cheesecake?

Recently, when I offered a friend a piece of cookie, she told me that she was on a no baked goods diet.

And today, I am baking a cheesecake, which I intend to bring to school tomorrow. I'll offer all my friends some, but should I offer this dieting friend some too, even though I know she won't want it? Is it polite to at least ask her?

No. She already told you she can't eat baked goods. It's hard sticking to a diet. You will be being a better friend if you don't offer her a piece, or even mention it to her! She will appreciate your support! Until she tells you she is off her diet don't talk about baked goods around her! By you asking the question it shows you care!

It is nice to ask. If someone doesn't want any, they can say no. Don't be pushy.

No I don't think you should. That would probably tempt her and if you care about her you would want her to follow thru with that goal.
