Mattress protector that doesn't sleep hot?

Most waterproof/bug proof/hypoallergenic mattress protectors sleep HOT. Always some kind of napped material - like jersey cotton.

Anyone know of a type that isn't like this? A plain cotton material would be great!

    My mattress protector is a quilted cotton,no waterproof involved at all.I bought it at a bedding store & it wasn't that expensive,around $20AUD. It is a fitted one that stays in place

    why protect the whole mattress when all you need is to protect a few square feet?

    look for exactly that at your store ... it'll sleep cooler
