"The world is a looking glass, and gives back to every man the reflection of his own face." Thoughts? Do you agree or disagree? Why?
My understanding is that you tend to see in the world the characteristics that you yourself possess.
If you are gentle and understanding, you will see a world full of good-hearted people doing the best they can to improve the world.
If you are mean and unforgiving, you will feel that the world is a cruel, hard place.
But which comes first? Is your perception caused by your personality, or vice-versa?
