Instagram won t let me change my username?
I m trying to get the Instagram username @alaina. Whenever I try to change my username, it says the name is taken. However, when I click @alaina in a comment, try to go to instagram.com/alaina, or search for it, no account comes up. Could the account just be deactivated, but not deleted? it s really annoying. Thanks !

Hmmm well maybe contact instagram if nothing helps

-try adding numbers to your username
-add your last name or the first letter of it to you user name
-if no one has the unsername it might be a glitch so refresh you page
-you dont need to change your username if you dont want to

thats wierd your name doesnt come up
contact instagram
make a new acc and try using the same name if it works

You may have been hacked but it could be deleted

If someone previously registered that name, you're not going to get it. Period.
