How come young african americans who act ghetto just don't get the fact that people stereotype them for being ghetto?

That's because on TV, the only black people who act as role models are fool rappers who act ghetto and sing stupid songs about violence, sex, drugs etc and keep convincing them that they are being discriminated against instead of encouraging them to rise above it all to become respected members of society. You never see respectable black people like Philip Emeagwali, Patricia Bath, Mae Jemison who would make good role models for black people on TV.

they are still BOTH black, they are both part of the exact same racial community. only one superficially behaves according to white mannerism white and speaks a white language properly...the other doesnt.

when you do, thats the "racist" thing, thats the "stereotypical" thing...you arent "supposed" to see a difference between someone who acts ghetto and one who doesnt... they are just as "nice" and "intelligent" and "capable" and are in no way whatsoever different from anyone else. its just a different culture...its "black culture".
