What is North Korea's deal? Is this really what the world has come to?
I'm sorry if you are annoyed with my questions regarding North Korea and Kim Jong-un.
I want to know what North Korea's problem is and why they are doing what they have done recently.
They executed a vice premier and 2 other officials for disrespecting Jong-un. They recently celebrated a dance party for their successful missile launch (although there is no evidence of nuclear weapons).
Are they really just trying to scare us or are they really trying to start a war? Because it seems like the latter.

The most recent execution of two senior North Korean Government officials was in fact done by an anti aircraft gun which perfectly sums up how insane North Korea becomes as the days go by. I know one of those executed in such a gruesome way apparently fell asleep during a meeting with Kim Jong Un which is I guess in NK grounds for capital punishment.
Personally I'm just surprised that no one in Kim's inner circle has launched a coup as I know the civilian population is brainwashed into seeing Kim Jong Un as a God but there have been times when he has been out of tne public eye for ages so in fact a coup could work if enough people were commited.
All in all yes this is what the world has come too and isn't it just insane? People can openly get away with the worst of the worst nowadays apparently and I hate to say it but this may only be the beginning.

North Korea's very existence is based on the country being in a permanent state of war. That propaganda is drummed into their population endlessly and makes life so much easier for the ruling Party members.

The North Korean regime is not stupid. It is unlikely they are trying to start a war.
But their own domestic political survival depends upon the people seeing their country (North Korea) as constantly under threat and assailed by hostility from outside. People will rally around a government (any government) when they perceive it as being necessary to stand united against external threats. Take that threat away, and the people may start to ask awkward questions.
For the North Korean leadership this means constantly walking a tightrope; needing to provoke hostility from outside all the time, but without going too far and risking it all.
