Is there a right way to put a bed into a bedroom?
This is the layout of my room -- Of course 4 walls. If you go by the wall that is at front of house, that has 2 windows. Lets call that the right side of room. So, the right side has 2 windows plus 1 vent (air vent). Left side has nothing except 1 vent. The top part has 1 window. The bottom is my closet plus a few inches (my dresser and mirror is here, and I already know that wherever I re-arrange furniture theres no room for this or anywhere to put it, so it has to stay there).
My mom says that there is a right way to put my bed into by bedroom. According to her, you not supposed to put bed where vents or windows are, which leaves bed in middle of room. When I will be re-doing room soon, she says she going to make me not put bed against any walls cuz of that rule (where you cant put bed against any of wall in room cuz of windows and/or vents). Apparently thats why she put my bed in middle of room years ago.
Honestly though, I never heard of it. When I look at articles online on how to rearrange bedroom furniture, they say you can put it against the walls. Going by real life and not by what I see online, no one seems to do that and they say you can put it against walls that have windows, and you can cover vents too.
On a side note, my room is literally small -- house is custom built house and back when original people had it, they made an office since they didnt have kids. They built 1 bedroom (aka master bedroom) plus 2 office rooms.
So I literally have nowhere to put bed anyways. But since its small room (literally), middle of room is annoying since theres literally no walking room and makes everything cramped, and I literally cant fit anything else in room cuz my mom wants to be weird. I know she being weird but just wanna see what other opinions are though.

So your vents are at the bottom of the wall or in the floor? And you have two vents in one room? Mine are at the top near the ceiling, and each bedroom only has one vent. I think you should put your bed against the top wall, the one with one window. Unless there is space on the left side for the bed without covering the vent. I wouldn't want to cover a vent, if that's where your heating and cooling come from.

I had a box room so my bed went against the wall where my window was.
My room didn't have a vent as we got double glazed windows put in and i could put my drawer units in and along the other wall with my telly on top and knick knacks on the other tops.
It had been an office at one time used by my late dad who was an architect.

You put the bed in the place that makes the best use of the available space, so against the wall is always the most preferable option in a small room
