Christians: What denomination are you?

Christian = Christ follower

Church = A gathering of the body of Christ who are Christ followers (Christians)

Nowhere in scripture does it tell us to belong to one church building or organization, it instead asks us to be part of the church, to think like-minded with it.

What is a protestant? A protestant is someone who defines the bible in a certain way and declares themselves to be different than others who define the bible a different way. Is this biblical? Instead of calling yourself protestant, can't you just call yourself Christian and part of God's church?

I am a Christian, I read the bible, I have given my life to Christ and put my trust in his sacrifice. I have been baptized and given his holy spirit, and it is by his grace I am free of sin. That is my denomination. That is my stance. Shouldn't it be every Christian's? Could not a mormon pick up a bible and read it and fall in love with God's character and know him personally, have his spirit, and be at odds in his church but still call himself a mormon? Is that man not a Christ follower since he is following Christ? I say then we should shed off these man-like definitions for ourselves and just follow Christ and say, "we are his" when asked.

Lutheran

I was United Methodist for 60 years. I recently joined my husband's church which is Catholic.

I once heard a former Pentecostal say that he is a Catholic with a Pentecostal flavor. I suppose I am Catholic with a Methodist flavor.

Salvation Army.

You're not a protestant if you don't belong to a particular church. You're automatically a Catholic until you choose something else.

I am a $20 bill. Too many $50 bills are fake.

I am Anglican, with a High Church leaning.

I don't have one. I guess I can be called eclectic. I don't mind being that way at all, it means I am not devoted to someone else's ideology, save that of Jesus Christ.Some would call me Protestant, some might call me a Calvinist. But I stand apart from them in some ways.

I serve Satan. Im not one of those weak Satanists who are atheists. I am a cold blooded brutal Satanist who is not afraid of ruining a Christians day.
