Trying to fix my boot up in bios for an Asus laptop. Need help.?

Update:

I've had problem where my boot up mysteriously switches and I have to manually change it back to hard drive. But is time it's different. Under my boot options I can't find hard drive. Just po:st9640320as... And p1:hl-dt-stdvdr...

Update 2:

My problem with starting up my computer this time came after a system update. All my computer would do was show me a black screen with a circling curser at the bottom. So I went into bios, but I can't find how to make it boot from hard drive. I don't have a Windows DVD to boot from.

po:st9640320as Is the boot option for the hard drive

(Seagate Momentus ST9640320AS 640Gb SATA II). If the drive is non bootable you may need to do a Windows repair/reinstallation using your recovery disks. If you haven't any then you may be able to make some from a working computer and Windows media creation tool.

For Windows 8 and Windows 10 you can use Windows 8/Windows 10 media creation tool respectively, for Windows 7 you would have to buy a set of recovery/installation disks from the manufacturer or eBay or find a working Windows 7 machine of the same 32 or 64bit flavour and create a recovery disk that way (control panel>recovery)
