Why is Trump seem to be so resistant to having a moderator during the debates?

A moderator's job is not to fact check. It's up the opponents to fact check each other. That's why its called a debate. I can't see Anderson Cooper keeping his mouth shut like a good moderator should.

Because the Moderator last time was straight up OBNOXIOUS. They would twist his words. Which is a common thing for Democrats.

Because Trump sees people as either with him or against him. He doesn't believe in moderation. That's why he'll make a terrible president, because he won't compromise with anybody.
