need help with this question it has to do with indigenous religions and culture.?

People today generally do not experience the intimate connection with nature, each other and animals that is so important to indigenous religions. Except for household pets, many people experience animals only in zoos, on TV or in packages at the grocery store. People experience vegetables, fruits, and other foods in the same way. The only time you see them is far from the natural source. We pave roads and bulldoze land to build large homes on small lots. The roofs of our homes are just feet away from the neighbors. Yet, we don't talk to our neighbor. Instead, we push a button to open our garage door when we arrive, and another to close it once we're inside. These and countless other factors separate people, nature and animals.

What are some aspects of modern culture and society that separate us from nature? Weigh the benefits against the negative impact for us? What should we do, if anything, about this separation

I mean, I understand where you're coming from, but I don't have this urgent necessity to walk out in the woods anytime soon, or talk to my neighbors who I don't care about and vice versa. It's fun, I agree, but think about on how much **** we humans as individuals spend on living our lives. The average person spends their lives working a 9-5 job, with probably a 2 week vacation. So nobody's thinking about going to the woods.

Now, me, a thing I love about being in law enforcement, specifically being in state police, because you don't experience these things in city PD's, is that I can be in patrol cars that go into the woods while we're going on our routine DUI checkpoints. It's refreshing and beautiful.

I understand your question deeply and i understand how everything and everyone SHOULD BE connected but society teaches us to disconnect so we can be good little slave sheep, divide and conquer is their goal that and dumbing down.
