I am not receiving a Call from Facebook to Verify My Facebook Account!?

I am trying to Verify My Facebook Account, by Adding a Mobile Number. But since I don't have a Mobile Phone, I have to use My Home Telephone Number instead. So I did that, in the Facebook Settings. And I am getting an Error Message at the top, that the Number cannot be used because it is used in another Facebook Account??? And I don't have another Facebook Account!!! Please give Me Your best advice!!!

    It has to be a cellphone number.

    First, they do NOT call you they send a text. So you need to use a mobile. Second, many people have used random telephone numbers to give to Facebook. And if you enter it as a local number, someone in another country can have the same number apart from the international code.

    They dont call, they text. it's 2016.

    you can also try searching for your home number to see if any names come up. It's possible you made one before? or someone using that number did?
