dead easy it will be destroyed by us before they arrive, the USA has 16000 nuclear war heads alone and the brains of a gnat what else do you think will happen we all lay down our arms share the money out and work together ha ha ha ha that's enough my side hurts

You mean planet?
You feel that humans will have better technologies then to defend themselves? If so, it is possible, but aliens are probably so advanced now that if they wanted to they could destroy us now which would lead us to believe that they never intended to do so.

An alien would just need to sneeze or cough, and pretty much everything would die. Our planet is not immune to every flue and virus out there.
