Depends if you are one of the unlucky ones. Forums are full of people that can't understand why they are sicker once it's removed.

it is there for a reason so can cause problems for some when removed.

Reserch and you can decide if you chose to have it removed or go to a functional medicine pratitioner who can help you keep it.

You won't be able to digest fats like you would before so can become deficient.

Nhs gives out poor advice after removal. From no fat diets to no diet advice at all.

I have come across a lot of people who was given poor advice. Told no fat diet so had dry skin, skin conditions, poor memory, strokes, heart problems etc

some that are not advised on digestive enzymes, will eat and then need the loo while eating or straight after finishing, due to the fats not bring broken down.

You will need to take supplements for life If you have it removed.

I think laws need changing on the advice that is given to people due to have theirs out.
