    pi x r^2 x 5 cm = 393 cm^3

    Solve for r:

    r = 5 cm

    So the smaller cylinder has a radius of 3 cm:

    pi x (3 cm)^2 x 3 cm = 84.8 cm^3

    393 / [ 5 / 3 ]³ ........84 8/9 cm³....note volume is 3 dimensional...thus ratio³ is used
