Question about pay day?
This is my first time at a job so I don't know how pay day works, but pay day at my job is every other Friday. I don't have any work shifts on Friday. Do I just show up to collect my paycheck or something? When are paychecks usually given out on pay day? After a shift? I have work on Saturday so can I also collect my paycheck tomorrow or can I only collect my paycheck on pay day?

Yes, you can pick up your check in person, after they are ready. Call ahead or ask your manager when checks are ready. If you don't pick it up on payday, you should be able to get it any other day as well, but it may be that a manager must get it for you.
Don't lose your check, get it in the bank as soon as practical.

Uou can stop in on Friday and get it - ask your supervisor what time they're available - or just wait and pick it up the next time you work.

Try asking your boss. Not yahoo answers as we do not know the company policy
