Bought a car and don't know if it's keyless entry?

Bought an 02 SE-R Spev V and the owner gave me the keys w keyless entry but it doesn't work even after I changed the proper batteries. He bought it from an auction. How can I tell if it's just some random remote or I actually do have keyless entry

    Why not contact a Nissan dealer with the VIN and they can tell you if it was factory equipped with keyless remote.

    Call the dealer parts department with your VIN and ask them if it has keyless entry.
