On average, a ball python lays six eggs in a clutch. The chances of each egg being a visual combination Homozygous morph after being bred with two different homozygous morphs is 1/16 or 6.25% per egg. what are the chances of getting a male and a female homozygous morph from one clutch (average) if the odds of m and f are 50/50?
37.5% chance per (average) clutch of one combined homozygous morph produced from the two different homozygous morphs.
9.4% that a clutch will contain a m and f combined homozygous
Is this correct? If so can you prove it? Thanks.
