Physics Help Please?
The tune-up specifications of a car call for the spark plugs to be tightened to a torque of 40 N⋅m . You plan to tighten the plugs by pulling on the end of a 26-cm-long wrench. Because of the cramped space under the hood, you'll need to pull at an angle of 125 ∘ with respect to the wrench shaft.
A)With what force must you pull?

F * x = T
F = T/ x = 40 / 0.26 = 154 N perpendicular to the shaft.
But F = F applied * cos( theta) where theta is measured from the perpendicular.
which also means that F = F applied * |sin(theta)|
Fapplied = F / |sin(theta)|
= 154 / |sin(125)|
= 188 N
