Fun things to do in San Jose (recommendations)?
I am trying to plan a day out with my girlfriend and she lives close to San Jose, so that's the closest city to take her to. I live two hours away and don't know San Jose, so if anyone can recommend fun things to do. All I know of is the Zoo, the Egyptian museum and Japantown. I am completely lost on what else this city has to offer.
So, if you had to plan a day, what would you do/recommend?

As someone who lives in the San Jose Area, I'd say pick up your GF and drive another hour to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
However, in or near San Jose, there is the spooky Winchester Mystery House. Santana Row, which is across the street, is a couple of blocks of upscale stores and restaurants. It's worth checking out too.
