    I think he would approve of some of Trumps no nonsense military strategies. Teddy Roosevelt certainly would not give warning prior to bombing an enemy held city

    No. Theodore Roosevelt was progressive for his era. After being brought up to speed and up to date, he would admire Hillary Clinton.

    I hate to break it to you, but we have had stupid presidential candidates since at least the mid 19th century. There will never be any hope for good democracy as long as we have a two party hegemony and an electorate that is governed by fear, intolerance and ignorance.
