Jeep won t power up?

Sometimes when I go to start my Jeep Patriot 2014 - I put the key in the cab powers up and the clock is reset to 12:00. When I turn to start - nothing. Eventually car will start. This is a random occurrence but more frequent when cold. Jump box will start it right up. Is it ignition switch, bad battery, etc...?

Do you try to keep your jeep plugged? It'll help to ease the transition from off to start and keep oil from turning into sludge and have some form of energy coursing through the battery and stuff during winters.

    Your battery is draining.

Could be a bad battery or it could be something is being left on.

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere. If you are hooking the jumper to the battery terminals on the cable, it most likely its the battery terminal to battery connection.
