Are race quotas in college admissions an example of racial discrimination (racism)?

So that the standards for blacks are way lower?

    it is actually there to COUNTER the inherent racism in the area, to give the races that often get excluded a fair chance.

    yes -- positive discrimination is STILL discrimination, even if it gets called affirmation.

    According to the supreme court it isn't, I think they are wrong.
