I've lived in Richmond, Virginia for years. I've been to and spoken at a couple of City Council meetings when Kaine was Mayor. I wasn't impressed. I was living in Virginia when he was Governor and was even less impressed. So, I don't understand why Hillary picked Kaine. He brings NOTHING to the table, little more than picking a guy off the streets. He has nothing to recommend him.
That being said, I also know that Kaine is a 'good guy'. He's a 'true believer' in the power of government in people's lives. Richmond is a welfare city where something like 80% of the people are on welfare and when he was Mayor, the murder rate was second only to New Orleans in the nation. He tried, but he failed to make a difference in the city because he didn't understand the connection between welfare and crime. He tried to solve the crime problem while increasing the welfare problem. I appreciate his motives, but the outcome couldn't have been worse.

If Hillary gets elected, she will never be impeached. That's the problem. We see the power she already wields and she's not even in the captain's chair.

Kaine is more favorable across the board than his presidential candidate. I'm sure his presidency would be a more desirable one.
