Hey new atheist... it's God's sandcastle - not mao's. Let me give you some meat from the scriptures.

1 Samuel 2:6 -- The LORD gives both death and life; he brings some down to the grave but raises others up.

Because believers have been brainwashed since childhood that when humans kill in the name of God, or a natural disaster happens, then that is either b/c 'God is calling his children back', or 'Satan did it' (in some brains, there needs to be an all-powerful bad guy, even though the Bible says this god is all-powerful.

But, if it happens, well then God must want it that way b/c he is such a loving god. eye roll
