How can we justify the electoral college when again it stole the election from the real winner and handed it to the one we didn't want?

It's justified because each individual state matters. Without the electoral college more than half the states in the Union would be overlooked. Candidates would just be flying between California, New York, Texas, Florida and other heavily populated states. They would go to these states pretending they care about their issues, while the rest of the country and it's issues would be completely ignored.

The United States is a Union and a Republic. We're not a Direct-Democracy. If you want to change that then you need to change the U.S. Constitution. If somehow you get that done, then you'll see states leaving the so called "union" and declaring independence.

The Electoral College, like it or not, is what the US Constitution describes as the way in which we elect US Presidents. This is not new and it is not stealing the popular vote this time nor has it stole popular votes in almost all other cases. All the data I have shows that the majority of votes on a state by state basis governed the electoral college vote intention. By the way, the electoral college has not yet voted in connection with yesterday's election so there is absolutely NO WAY the electoral college stole the popular vote of yesterday. If you wish to end the electoral college, it needs a constitutional amendment and this is the way it would be removed. I suggest you brush up on your understanding of the US Constitution as clearly you do not have a firm grasp of it.

You can t say the EC stole the election because the candidates based their whole campaign strategy on the fact that there is an EC. If it was just popular vote Trump would have spent more time in California and such.

Both candidates knew the rules of the game. Landslide victories in New York and California do not a President make. Maybe if Clinton had focused her campaign on the issues instead of spending her whole time accusing Trump of being racist and sexist she could have won the electoral college. She had a flawed campaign strategy.

The electoral college exists to make sure us country folk aren't ignored for the people in NYC, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philly, and Seattle.

I do not think the electoral college is fair, but there's nothing to do, that's the law.

What is this "the one we didn't want" hogwash? 62 million American voters DID want Trump. You're painting with a mighty broad brush by including those 62 million-plus American voters in your "we".
